A honeymoon is the first adventure a new married couple experiences together. It is important that it is unique to the interest of both parties. After spending on your wedding, you may be feeling like you don’t have a lot of options for destinations for your honeymoon. Below are three ideas of locations that you can go that won't hurt your wallet but ensure enjoyment for you and new spouse!

Whether you're looking for tropical weather, incomparable scenery, or colonial style architecture you have options. Here are some of the destinations you might want to consider:

Mexico

If you're set on a tropical destination Mexico might be the right pick for you. With breath-taking beaches and just the right amount of culture, it is always a good time in Mexico. The night life is something that attracts many of the tourists, along with the landscapes and incredible weather. All-inclusive trips help cut some of your main costs like food or beverage and entertainment. Who can really resist the sand, the sun, and the waves?

Ireland

Formally one of the most expensive places to travel in the West of Europe, Ireland is priced much more ideal now. The more condensed part of Ireland still remains around the same prices but across the west coast they have become more economical. People go for the scenery; the rolling hills, and endless green. Little villages are scattered across the west coast displaying how quaint Ireland truly is. These villages are full of kind locals who are known around the world for their caring manner. It makes for a perfect romantic getaway, the one we've been dreaming of since we watched "P.S. I Love You". (by the way.. we LOVE that movie!!!)

Montreal

If you're looking to really keep the budget down. Plan your honeymoon locally. Montreal is Canada's own little piece of Europe; bursting with culture, wonderful food, and a great music scene. There is plenty of gorgeous architecture to experience while you explore the streets and shops. If you're looking for some fun, Montreal attracts people of all ages for the night life. All in all, Montreal is our own little taste of culture shock here in Canada and makes for an inexpensive but incredible choice.

Keep in mind, many countries that are expensive have less expensive options. If you want to travel somewhere popular, look for surrounding cities that are easily accessible to help with lowering the cost of hotels, B&Bs and other sleeping arrangements.

Bottom line - do your research and give yourself the time to do so.  Planning ahead is key.

The more time you have to save and plan the closer to your ideal getaway you will be!

Be sure to pin these fab locales to your vison board! Get those ideas flowing:)
