Not everyone dreams of throwing a big wedding, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be everything they could have wished for. For some couples getting married to the one they love is special enough without the grand gestures of an extravagant affair. Most low key weddings are intimate and include your closest friends and family in a small venue. What more do you need right? (Ok maybe some food, drinks and music) then all should be good!

We found these three real life low key weddings that looked amazing in more ways than one. It is evident from all the smiles in the pictures that the couples truly enjoyed their big day filled with happiness.

Offbeat bride brings you Kim and Greg’s garden party in Manhattan.

An outdoor ceremony for less than 60 guests in a neighborhood garden and Kim designed almost everything herself from her dress to décor.

Two paths lead to a central pagoda where the two joined to say their vows before a friend who was also a wedding officiant. They sealed the deal with a kiss before heading back down the aisle with the band played Greg’s favorite song. Then it was to a lounge for drinks and nibbles.
