October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I would like to take the opportunity this month to bring awareness to those that tune into my blog about Breast Cancer. I think we all know of someone that has been touched by this disease and it takes away those we love the most. We have to help in this fight.

While there is no cure as of yet for this type of cancer, this month is about promoting mammography screenings and advancing research that will bring us steps closer to finding a cure.

Take a moment and think of how you can help in the fight in your own community and take that step.

We will be posting some little known facts about Breast Cancer on a daily basis. You may learn something new! I know I have!

Please also tune into my blog for posts that are "All about PINK - Wedding Inspiration". As mentioned before, many of us know someone that has been affected by this disease and in honour of them many brides & grooms go the route of incorporating that awareness into their celebrations. Stay tuned for ideas on how you can do this!
